The Eyes of a Mass Murderer Another 17 families are forever changed. Destroyed. Another 17 of our nation’s children were executed at the hands of a home-grown terrorist with access to a rapid-fire, semi-automatic weapon that can deliver mass-casualties in mere seconds. The latest in yet another school shooting. America 2018. I don’t know about you, but I am sick of this. I can’t stand to watch or hear about another mass-shooting in America. It’s tragic. I can hardly stomach this anymore. The families. The victims. The shooter. So much information. So many people shouting. To what end? In the days after the all too common mass-shooting, we start to hear about the victims. We learn about who they were, their goals, their lives. Cut short for doing nothing more than going to school. What always felt like a safe zone to me as a kid, is now the battlefield in the fight for responsible gun laws. This is what it’s come to.  The hard-right with their though...

Trump's Infrastructure Plan is a Joke

"Authorizing the Federal Government and third party service providers to impose and retain fees under WRRDA to use or defray costs associated with carrying out a project would enable effective infrastructure p...

America’s WTF Moment

Shadow of the Emiliano Zapata Salazar monument in Mexico In Donald Trump’s State of the Union Address he claimed responsibility for Black unemployment being the lowest ever; for the stock market reaching record highs; for everything good about America (as he loves to do). But he failed to acknowledge any of the negatives since he took office. Things we as a Nation, need to work on. Why would he? The negatives are never about Trump, are they? Of course not. Then, just a day later, new figures showed Black unemployment jumped to the highest level since 2012. A couple of days after that, came the useless Nunes memo and then the stock market took a dump. Black Unemployment Is Back Up. Way Up. What Will Trump Have to Say Now? Well, that was fast. The black unemployment rate in the United States, which fell to a record low in December… www.theroot.com What did Trump do? He went to play golf. Because that’s what a wealthy racist does in times of crisis. We saw plenty of t...
